Colossal Cones is a brand new Vail-born ice cream trailer opening right here on the southeast side, and their soft opening is this Friday, June 12th from 4 to 8 PM at 13105 E Colossal Cave Road, right next to the Vail Coffee Stop. This is one of those things that starts as a dream between two people and becomes the spot everyone ends up at on a Friday evening. We love to see it.

They are coming out of the gate with 6 flavors and 6 toppings, all premium scooped ice cream served in cones or cups. Once they are fully up and running, the regular schedule will be Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 5 PM. But for the soft opening, you get an extra few hours. Four to eight. Golden hour ice cream. In Vail. In June. You already know.
